Job Description:

The Team Lead position is an administrative and supervisory role that is intended to monitor, report, and support the day-to-day activities of the AP Administration department, and supervising a team of AP Analyst. Duties may include but are not limited to training and recruitment, measuring, and reporting on KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities in the team’s processes.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of AP Admin Analysts, including task assignment, performance evaluation, training, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Oversee the end-to-end processing cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Managing escalations to ensure that they are resolved appropriately and effectively

  • Assessing individual skill gaps and performances, and providing training

  • Staff succession planning, recruitment & onboarding

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Completion of a professional accounting designation or equivalent post-secondary education and/or experience

  • 3+ years of experience supervising staff

  • Strong technical skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Good knowledge of accounting is an asset

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter with proven reliability

  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills
