Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible developing, solutioning and supporting financial operations, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring the integrity of our general ledger, profit & loss (P&L) accounts, and balance sheets. The ideal candidate combines hands-on functional and technical expertise and will play a key role in banking and settlements, advanced financial reporting, and Workday Financials optimization to support our growing automotive body works and repair business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the administration, configuration, and enhancement of Workday Financials, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and business needs.
Develop and maintain advanced Workday Financials reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide real-time financial insights.
Optimize and automate banking and settlements processes within Workday to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Oversee general ledger (GL) management, ensuring accurate financial data entry, reconciliation, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management through Workday.
Serve as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for all Workday Financials modules including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, Financial Accounting, Expense Management, Taxation and Asset Management.
Perform hands-on configuration and customization of Workday Financials modules not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, Financial Accounting, Expense Management, Taxation and Asset Management.
Develop and implement configuration strategies to ensure the platform is optimized for performance and scalability.
Work closely with the finance team to understand business processes and specific business stakeholder needs and translate them into functional requirements and configurations.
Provide hands-on guidance and support on the effective creation of solutions in Workday Financials to meet business requirements.
Generate and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Support financial planning and forecasting by leveraging Workday’s Adaptive Planning and reporting tools.
Drive Workday-based audit and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations to optimize Workday workflows and financial processes.
Lead system upgrades, new module implementations, and process automation to enhance financial efficiency.
Provide Workday Financials training and support to finance teams and end-users
Oversee data integrity and ensure accurate and timely data entry within the Workday Financials system.
Develop data validation strategies and perform regular audits to maintain data quality.
Manage data migrations and transformations as required between 3rd party systems and legacy Boyd Group systems
Lead Workday Financials implementation projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Workday Financials, including at least 2 Workday Financials implementations full cycle experience
Basic Qualifications
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes and principles.
Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation Details:
$125,000 - $160,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
