Chip Repair Technician / Parts Runner

Responsibilities

As a Chip Repair Trainee, you will learn to professionally install auto glass in accordance with the AGRSS™ Standard. Your trainer and mentor will teach you all the techniques the pros use to complete safe, high quality auto glass installations with a focus on personal safety and outstanding customer service. After the intensive training program, you will have the opportunity to work on your own with the potential to make top dollar with our lucrative bonus plan.

As a Parts Runner, you will be responsible for picking up auto glass from our vendors and delivering it to our Technicians in the field.

  • Order parts from select vendors

  • Deliver parts to Technicians in the field using company vehicle.

  • Secure invoices from vendor/shop and provide copies to A/P.

  • Monitor and Return parts to vendors as necessary

Qualifications

  • Mechanical ability and aptitude

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Clean background check and good driving record

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Ability to lift and carry large, heavy objects (up to 75 pounds)

  • Automotive experience is a plus.
