Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Undertake advanced plastic repair & leadership training
- Set up and maintain training hubs, tools, equipment and materials for multiple trainees
- Manage training cores - such as bumper covers to be allocated to trainees
- Perform trainee quality control and process on training jobs
- Share assessment reports and observations with management
- Assist in placement and onsite support to certified trainees
- Deliver and document the 6 week training progress of the Plastic Repair Technician curriculum
SAFETY
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Enforce that all proper PPE is worn during repairs and safety glasses at all times
- Ensure that all needed equipment is operating properly.
- Immediately report any accident/incident to the Production Manager and/or General Manager.
COMPANY EXPECTATIONS

- Perform all assigned activities according to the Standardized Operating Procedures of the company
- Continuously strive to improve the efficiency of the production department and overall company operation, and be willing to participate in company meetings
- Participate in training programs as required to maintain the technical and professional skills and techniques necessary for this position
- Follow the training curriculum that the Plastic Repair Technician Program outlines to advance learning opportunities
- Follow manufacturing guidelines to ensure replacement parts are to the manufacturer's specifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, training certification, and/or ability required. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Collision repair or plastic welding experience and technical expertise preferred
- Mentoring and hands on training delivery experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort with standing for extended periods during vehicle repairs
- Physical flexibility to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Clear close vision and effective use of hands for handling vehicle parts
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Capability to read and understand work orders
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Plastic welding certification a plus
- Past mentoring and training experience preferred
- Computer knowledge or willing to take training to become proficient in the following:
- Completion and creation of spreadsheets
- Email etiquette
- Google Hangout/meet-other platforms video calls
- Drive file system
- Google slides
- Document creation and editing
