Job Description:
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support for acquisitions including but not limited to preparing market research, building financial models, trend analysis and competitor/target assessments
- Assist in preparing and presenting analysis and findings to management and the operational leadership team
- Other duties as assigned by senior Corporate Development staff
Education and/or Experience Required (including certifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field.
- 0-2 years experience in a related field, including: Investment Banking, Financial Due Diligence, FP&A, Accounting, Management Consulting
- Progress towards relevant designation such as CPA, CBV, or CFA will be considered an asset
Required Skills/Abilities
- Advanced Excel skills, particularly in financial and business modeling
- Understanding of financial statements as well as finance and accounting concepts. Experience interpreting and communicating financial and business information
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think holistically, manage short and long term projects/milestones and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethic, and collaborative working approach. Responsible and trustworthy, constantly delivers above and beyond

- Ability to work from the office ~3 days/week. Ability to travel up to ~25% of the time to Canada and within the US.
