Job Description:
The Learning and Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for the administration of our learning management system, but will also assist with the execution of The Boyd Group's Learning and Development strategy, including the design, development, and delivery of learning solutions.This position will also help implement and evaluate initiatives designed to drive organizational and individual success.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Act as administrator of the company's learning management system.
• Support the company's learning and development strategy.
• Assist with the implementation of learning programs; develop curriculum and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Recommend and/or develop quality learning content in a variety of modalities to support roles across the organization.
• Adapt style and tone of content development to fit a variety of roles across enterprise (Hourly, Salaried, Management, etc.).
• Ensure overall learning integrity through monitoring, feedback, testing, evaluation and ongoing analysis of key metrics; leverage KPIs, organizational data, and stakeholder feedback to establish and/or improve programs in ways that drive results and efficiency.
• Facilitate learning offerings.
• Collaborate with managers to obtain feedback on the effectiveness of learning efforts, adjusting solutions to best align with the needs of local teams. • Measure and report on the effectiveness of learning and development programs.
• Assist with strategy execution for L&D programs including: role-specific onboarding, skill training for role excellence, cross-functional learning, and processes that drive efficiency.
• Understand the Company's long-term objectives and suggest ideas to achieve them through learning and other development.
• Help collate a centralized repository of tools and training easily accessible to remote teams.
• Support enterprise-wide projects (ex. engagement survey); often in collaboration with other HR functions
• Lead and/or assist with development of learning materials and aids to support and reinforce learning objectives.
• Support change management initiatives and craft engaging communications about new program/system offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Education, Communication, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, including content development and delivery.
• Knowledge of adult learning concepts, training and development theories and techniques, and organizational development.
• Experience executing solutions for a multi-site workforce preferred.
• Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, ability to quickly organize materials, prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills with an ability to express complex concepts in business terms.
• Must have excellent organization and time management skills; must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables. • Solid business acumen, including the ability to analyze data and provide financially-backed recommendations.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities, problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and flexibility to change with the needs of the business. • Ability to engage with team members at all levels of an organization, from shop personnel to senior executives.
• Sound judgment, strong principles, and the ability to exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
• Position requires up to 25% travel when the travel ban is lifted.
• Experience and understanding required working with several different software / eLearning / LMS platforms & learning vehicles. • Workday, Instructional Design, and Articulate Storyline 360 experience preferred.
• Expertise with Google Suite preferred (Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Documents, Presentation, etc.).
