Job Description:
Key Job Responsibilities
Direct local buyers to purchase from preferred vendors. Verify purchase inquiries by comparing items requested to the master/preferred vendor list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
Review and approve new vendors before Accounting adds a new vendor on Work Day. Consolidation of vendors for Boyd Group organization
Standardizing dealership discounts to obtain the best discounts in the supported market. Provide the most updated dealership discounts to supported markets.
Participate in Vendor management. under the direction of the Lead i.e. QBR meetings, vendor relations.
Work closely with local buyers, RVPs, Market Managers, and GMs to promote Corporate Programs.
Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents via an approved channel(s).
Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. i.e. Work Day compliance reports
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results
Education and/or Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in business, or related field
(For external candidates) 3-5 years of Corporate Procurement experience.
Previous working experience in procurement/supply chain
Work experience allows for understanding the local buyer's circumstances and culture in the auto repair industry.
Required Skills/Abilities
Quantitative and analytical skills (advanced EXCEL)
Attention to details
The interpersonal and communication skills to deliver sometimes unwelcome news in a palpable manner
Demonstrated understanding of the need to balance rule enforcement while maintaining relationships
Strong business acumen to...

Compensation Details:
$50,000 - $80,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
